Did not like the characters. The evil mom trope wasn't interesting or particularly dynamic, and the love interest had a boring personality. The plot was unique and interesting, but written in a bland way. Some of the descriptions were…

Surprised me how much I liked the story but not the overly long book. YA fantasy with dragons, Magick and faeries. I found life in Talamh most appealing than Breen's messy one in Philadelphia.

I came across this book by chance and I’m really glad I did. I took a chance on reading it but I had to finish another novel which was so so. But once I started this book I ate it up in no time. Loved the plot and the characters and I…

This is what I would call a "soft" or "cozy fantasy." There are fae and dragons and more but most of the context of the story takes place in cozy little cottages amongst green hills. If you prefer audio, the audiobook narration of this…

I have read every one of her In Death series and I have to say that Breen is our new hero. Lovely descriptions of the Irish countryside as well as the personalities you encounter on the way. Wonderful book to read with a cuppa! Looking…

Excellent book. Easy to read and follow even if the first one of the trilogy had not been read. Anxiously awaiting the completion of this page turning trilogy.

This was my first time reading anything by Nora Roberts, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This was a wonderful book, and definitely wasn't what I was expecting. I can't wait to read the next one!
One of the silliest books it has been my misfortune to read! Pathetic wishy-washy heroine, predictable hero. Even my cat disliked it and ripped some pages! Won’t bother with the sequel.

I know Nora Roberts likes Ireland and make believe, but this book was very plodding. The ending was horrible. I was looking for another CD. I thought I had lost one. Roberts is one of my favorite authors but, this book was very…

I liked this one and will read the next but the main character's romantic relationship is off to a slow start and the sex scene was bland and the "conflict"/violent scene was rather bland. This is NOT a laurell k Hamilton type book it is…

Bland as tap water! This one is missing Robert's sparkling banter and believable characters. Instead, the plot is plodding and the fantasy aspect is underdeveloped. There are also odd sentence structures that kept distracting me. To…

If you felt like you read this book before you have, the only difference in this story has Wers, Fairies, Eleves, Flying Dragons and Feys added to the plot. The hero is dashing as usual and the heroine object of the bad guy, who wants her…
Ho hum. Just another Nora Roberts with the same tired plot with a little "magick" thrown in. Too many wordy descriptions of the countryside. The "ending" was extremely disappointing.
This is one of her best books. I thoroughly enjoyed it and am eager for the next in the series. The scenic descriptions transport you to Ireland and make you feel the land. The characters slowly develop and the contrast between now and the…
