Enjoyable read, engages the author's love for the Great Gatsby within its emotional analysis of both it, and main character Baxter Green. Not to give a spoiler alert, but teen angst and rebellion against the system as well as a tender love quotient surprisingly each come together in an open-ended close that leaves room for a possible book two.
Hint. Hint, Ms. Ellsworth.

"Books are supposed to see the possibilities that life doesn't offer, to give us happy, fairy-tale endings. But that didn't work out for Gatsby and Daisy." - pg. 143
