Pascal is in a bad place. He and his longtime girlfriend have just broken up, he's got writer's block, and when he goes out for a run to ease his frazzled nerves, he falls and injures his back so badly that he's strictly forbidden from running. What's an endorphin-loving cartoonist to do? In a bid to distract himself, Pascal throws himself into his other pleasure: reading. And while at the bookstore one day, he spies a young woman picking up his own book. But then she darts out of the shop without paying. Bemused, he decides to figure out why she did it.

Pascal Girard walks a fine line between self-deprecation and having his character come off as a total jerk. He makes for a weird protagonist: one who is kind of annoying, but you root for him anyway.

This is one of the worst things I've ever read in comics. I wish I could have back the time I spent reading this remarkably bad piece of crap. The "art" is about what I'd expect from a teenager's 1st attempt at comics. One of the great things about comics is that you don't need great art if you have good writing. This is not one of those cases. The story revolves around a character named after the author, who is a pathetically lazy & stupid jackoff...He messes up everything he does & gets no sympathy from me. As I turned the pages, I kept hoping the main character would get torn apart by werewolves, but no. So disappointing.

The author appears to have some issues with women. The protagonist's love interest is a deceitful kleptomaniac, and the other women characters are portrayed as angry bishes. Interesting.
