Wow! What an unexpected twist! I can't believe Stinger managed to trick every one into thinking Thorn is the bad guy. What a cruel and unfair punishment Thorn got. Even Thorn's best friend Mud believed in Stinger's lies. It'll be hard for Thorn to escape out of this mess.

The next book is Blood and Bone and it comes out on October 2nd, 2018. Book #1 of the second series for Bravelands is called Shifting Shadows and it comes out on June 4th, 2019 Usually I would give these sort of Erin Hunter books 5/5 stars but seriously, the characters choices were unreal so that is reason for 4/5 stars. Why can't Thorn just run away? * He does do this in the next book but not willingly. Now, if any of you guys like Warriors Crowfeather's Trial is coming out on September 4th, 2018 and the new Novella sequel Path of a Warrior is coming out on April 9th, 2019. Path of a Warrior includes Redtail's Debt Tawnypelt's Clan and Shadowstar's Life. Here's the blurb:

A ThunderClan warrior who dared to stand in the way of the ambitious cat who would become Tigerstar; a ShadowClan deputy who made the difficult decision to step down for the good of her Clan; and the brave warrior who was the first leader to lose her ninth life.

I was going to rate this only 3.5/5 stars because of the characters' unbelievable choices (why can't Thorn just tell Berry the truth and escape together with Starleaf, Mud, and Frog??), but changed my mind when I read the last few chapters. Erin Hunter created this infuriating climax and cliffhanger that was so engrossing that I loved it. I can't wait for the next book! Keep up the good work Erin!

I loved the book Bravelands by Erin Hunter. It was well written with a spectacular story line. I haven't read a book like this since I read Dragon rider. I can not wait for the next book to come out because this one is spectacular.

Thorn's whole body was a fire of pain, and he could feel blood trickling from his muzzle and brow and his mauled shoulder. It didn't matter. Mud hated him. Berry hated him. No one believed him. He wanted to curl up on the bank of the watering hole, to be left alone. There he could wait for night to fall, and the crocodiles to take him.
