"Long, the dragon-style warrior, saw his temple burned, his brothers killed, and his novice siblings fleeing to the four winds. But that was many months ago. Now the five young warriors have reunited with Ying, the redeemed renegade who put all of these events in motion, and ShaoShu, the mousy street thief, to prevent the wily mantis Tonglong from taking over China. Time is short and distances are great, and the future of China lies in the hands of five young monks." --From the publisher.

the ending did suck in the sence that ying died and that they all find their familys and left i thought that they would all go back to changzen and i thought that tonglong would be the good one but im really glad ying was the good one

I already read this when I was eight years old and now I'm ten and I'm rereading the whole series cuz they're so awesome!! Pity that Jeff Stone isn't, like, Harry Potter-famous. That sucks.
Like I said, READ IT.

And the reason you say there's a lot of loose ends, MackMatryn, is because you haven't read the whole series yet, you sucker and this is the last book!

Terrible ending, bad story line, poorly written. This book wasn't at all good and left ALOT of loose ends.
