I enjoyed the plot of this book: the mystery, the suspense. I found it interesting and original, something I hadn't really read about before. What I didn't really find appealing is how it romanticized some rather unromantic traits in Ever, the main character's love interest. He was rather secretive and just overall not the greatest guy. He didn't seem to be very kind to or interested in Ever until the end. I just wish books would stop making it seem like girls should go after the 'bad guys' because it's our job to make them good. Other than that, I enjoyed the story and found the suspense quite intriguing. 3/5 Stars

Similar to Twilight although I wish they revealed the plot secrets earlier. Ok, but I'm not going to bother with the rest of the series.
