This movie gave me insight on what people with illnesses really go through. The Fault in Our Stars had a great story line with so many twists and turns that I did not suspect. I in fact did cry when watching this movie so I recommend having tissues nearby while watching. I loved how the main character found love in the one place where she really didn't want to be. This movie taught me that I should be grateful for everything that I have in my life as everything can change in an instant. I think this movie was fantastic and I recommend it to teenagers especially. 5/5 -@Lessie of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board This movie had an amazing plot about two terminally ill cancer patients Hazel and Augustus who decide taking on the world traveling, spending time together is the best way to spend their final days. One of my favourite parts is when augustus gives Hazel his one make a wish for her to go to amsterdam and meet one of her favourite writers. I also love how he treats Hazel and cares for her although his health is not in the greatest condition it shows how love is the strongest thing and not even death can overcome it. I definitely think this movie is more suitable to older teenagers its very heart wrenching so older kids can handle it easier. I rate this movie a 5 out of 5 definitely recommend. @movieslayer123 of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library The fault in our stars movie was as fun and interesting as the book. It is a heartfelt and sweet love story between two teens who are diagnosed with cancer. It is an emotional movie because you never know what can happen to either one of them over the course of time in the movie. They eventually fall in love with each other and do have a sort of “mission” they need to do and explore the world. I rate this movie 5 out of 5 because it is an amazing movie. @BirdieBooks of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library I love this movie the first time I watched it. It is the sweetest romantic movie I’ve seen. I love both the main characters and the way their relationship grows throughout the movie. The character Ansel Elgort plays is my favourite and will have you falling in love with his role. The story line although, adorable, is very heartbreaking and leaves you feeling uneasy. This movie shows how two people with cancer really connect and you get to see their daily struggles dealing with their condition. I would recommend watching this movie alone or with a friend, it’s very sad and will make you emotional. 4/5 stars @EffyStonem of the teen review board at the Hamilton Public Library. It was such a cute film. It was very emotional as well. I read the book first and enjoyed it very much, so I had to watch the movie and I was not disappointed and neither will you be. I loved the love story and the theme/message of this movie was just amazing. The characters are well thought out and the actors are well chosen. The actors performed really well in the film. One of my friends told me that they did not like this film because it was really cheesy, but in my opinion, that's what made this movie amazing. It was simple yet, heartwarming. I was either crying or laughing in this movie. My favorite thing about this movie was how the characters fought hard to overcome their illnesses. I totally recommend this movie to aged 13 and over. I give this movie a 4.5 out of 5 stars. @terrificbooklover of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
