Summary

This book is about the life of Caitlin O'Koren, after her sister runs away on Caitlin's birthday. Constantly in her sister's shadow, Caitlin struggles to find a way to do something that Cass never did. Be something else. Her parents, devastated, are consumed by grief and, her mother especially, try hard to throw themselves into other things to distract themselves. Caitlin still trying to understand her feelings about Cass' disappearance, continues on to meet Rogerson Biscoe. A olive skinned, teenage boy, with dreadlocks and a hazy background. They become attached at the hip, always together. But what happens when it turns out that Rogerson is a drug dealer across town? Caitlin will suffer through some hard decisions, and some even harder circumstances as she learns who she is without her sister at her side.
