LOVE , LOVE , LOVE. The w\hole plot has finally changed ! There are new characters , new problems. Hamiltion doesn't just make the whole story revolve with the story of the supernatural beings. She give Tammy , Rolph , Zerbrowski and Ronnie important roles that make her fantasy more real through a lively exciting cast. Anita explores the true meaning of her love for Asher. Anita struggles to mantain a relationship with Dolph because of her dating Jean Claude and Micah. Ha ha , but he doesn't know about Nathaniel or the werewolves , oh boy .Anita is like most protagnist of supernatural thrillers and romances , because beyond helping and saving the creepie crawlies ( as she would affectionally call all her friends) she has a career , family ,like , dislikes and ambition. Characters like the Twilight Saga's Bella Swan and L A Bank's Damali Richards can't compete with Anita because they don't have a cast of believable characters to support them , and they aren't motivated by anything except slaying vampires ( for Damali ) and becoming a vampire. And well I am really biased because I think Bella is stuck up and stupid for wanted to be a vampire , instead of alive with Jacob . I want to stake Bella. Anyway this novels thrills and gives you a chill just like the other novel beforehand , but we finally see for sure that Richard well not accept Anita. Richard doesn't like himself for being a werewolf. And Richard finally takes charge his pack. But long well it stay stable after he nearly killed Sylvie < I don't think much longer. I love how Jean Claude is becoming more of a secondary character in Anita's life. She isn't completely devoted to him and she hasn't even really noticed that. She started out with just him , but is this her final choice , well read the book and find out/Be prepared to be boggled , to ow and awe and cry , and laugh at Hamiltion's continued funny and always charming view of a modern vampire slayer and Nimir Ra trying to stay sane.
